BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: One soldier was killed and two more were wounded in a bomb explosion in northern Baghdad on Thursday, a security source said.

 

"An improvised explosive device went off targeting an army vehicle patrol in al-Aadhamiya region, northern Baghdad, killing a solider and injuring two," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

"Security forces cordoned off the region, while the wounded were carried to a nearby hospital for treatment," he added.
