Njirvan Barzani, Titus Corlăţean discuss bilateral relations
ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish Premier Njirvan Barzani met today Romanian foreign minister Titus Corlăţean.
Minister Corlăţean attended the ceremony of opening a Romanian consulate here, during which he described this event as "a vital step to develop relations with Kurdistan".
He re-iterated his country's keenness to coordinate and cooperate with the Kurdish region in fields of oil, energy, dam building, agriculture, tourism and health.
Minister Corlăţean expressed readiness to receive Kurdish region students, particularly in oil and gas fields.
The Romanian delegation signed a twining between Romanian city of Brashov and Arbil province.
