2/15/2013 2:52 PM

ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Emir of Dilaim tribes gave a one-week notice to the police commander and government officials appointed by Premier Nouri al-Maliki to leave the province.

Sheikh Ali Hatem al-Sulaiman told Aswat al-Iraq that the sit-in members decided to give one week notice to the police commander of the province and other official appointed by Maliki, because "they are agents of premier Maliki and Iran.

He gave a warning to the provincial council members and the governor to determine their stands "either with or against the demonstrators".

Sulaiman called Iraqiya ministers and Anbar MPs to leave the government.

Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.

Ramadi, center of the province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
