KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Medical sources said here today that the received toll for Kirkuk explosions reached to 16 dead and 40 wounded.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that a bombed car exploded near Kirkuk Police Directorate simultaneously with two suicidal explosions that resulted in these casualties.

Kirkuk, center of the city, lies 280 km north east of the capital, Baghdad.

It is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil that witnesses continued violent actions against the military and civilians, alike.
