BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Independent MP Kadhim al-Sayadi was under an attack to kidnap and killing him in mid of Kut city, as reported by a statement of his office.

In a press statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, he added that "an attempt was made to kidnap and killing me in mid of the city".

He disclosed that his bodyguards recognized the attackers and the numbers of their vehicles.

No other details were given by the statement.
