Iraqis in Sweden equal to 2% of population, Swedish ambassador

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Parliament Speaker Usama Nujaifi discussed today with the Swedish Ambassador to Iraq Yurgen Lindstrom bilateral relations and the Iraqi refugees in Sweden.

The Swedish Ambassador disclosed that the Iraqi refugees in Sweden reached to 2% of original Swedish population.

In a statement by his office, Nujaifi rejected the agreement signed between Iraqi government and Sweden on Iraqi refugees as "clear-cut violation of human rights"

Both sides stressed importance of developing bilateral economic relations and to find solutions to Iraqi immigrants in Sweden.
