Lebanese, Turkish, Russian elements in corrupted arms deal , MP
BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Parliamentary Integrity Commission MP Jawad al-Shihaili accused external elements in Lebanon, Turkey and Russia with the Russian arms deal corruption.
In an interview with Russia Today TV he added that these elements were involved in the arms deal with the Ukraine.
He confirmed that there are "pressures to close this dossier".
Iraq and Russia signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation, during Maliki's visit to Moscow last October.
The Russian military deal was reported to have corruption implications, which it is, now, under investigation on the Iraqi side.
The Russian side reported, earlier, that the abrogation of the military agreement, if it will be done, was due to US pressures on Iraq.
