BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that 5 persons were killed, including two soldiers, while other 13 were wounded by a bomb blast in Mahmoudiya area, south of the capital.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that a bombed car was cornered near a military check-point.

No other details were given.

Baghdad witnessed today an explosion in Taji Military Camp by a bombed car, which led to killing five and wounding 14 more.

Another explosion took place in Shu'la area which resulted in killing 4 and wounding 13.
