Parliament begins session, 222 lawmakers attend

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi parliament started on Tuesday its 33th session under the chairmanship of Speaker Usama al-Nujaifi,
with the attendance of 222 lawmakers.
 
 
"The parliament started its 33th session of the first legislative term of the third legislative years, which will discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza and several draft laws," a parliament's source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
 
 
"The session will discuss also the final accounts of the general budget and the second reading of the budget bill of the Federal Republic of Iraq of 2013 financial year," he added.
