BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Interior Ministry said it foiled an attack on Shiite pilgrims in Salah al-Din with ten rockets in southern Salah al-Din province.

 

"The forces seized ten rockets aimed at Shiite pilgrims in eastern al-Dujail district, south of Tikrit," Colonel Saad Maan Ibrahim, official spokesperson of the interior ministry, said in a statement on Sunday.

 

"The operation was launched in light of intelligence information," he added.
