ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Higher Kurdish Authority member Saud al-Mulla disclosed today that a border will be opened between the Kurdish region and Syria soon.

In a special statement to PNA news agency, affiliate to the Kurdish Democratic Party, he added that "only procedures remained to open the vent in Simalka area to permit Kurdish assistance to Syria".

The vent shall be under the supervision of the Higher Kurdish Authority, as the sources said.
