14 wanted arrested in Basra and Pakistani money smuggler

BASRA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Basra police sources announced arresting 14 wanted for criminal cases, in addition to a Pakistani who tried to smuggle 30.000 dollars.

General Faisal al-Ibadi told Aswat al-Iraq that the Pakistani intended to enter Kuwait with the smuggled money.

Basra, center of the province, lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
