NINEWA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Unknown gunmen assassinated today two soldiers east of Mosul, security sources said here.
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the soldiers were killed in their check-point.
No other details were given.
Mosul city, center of the province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
