ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish region president Masoud Barzani expressed his "full support" to the demands of the demonstrators compatible with the constitution.
He called for keeping the demonstrations "peaceful", warning against foreign intruders.
In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, he pointed out that Iraq is passing through the crises for a long time due to the lack of services, demoting political partners and non-abidance by the constitution, which led to overall objections against governmental practices.
Barzani believed that to overcome the current crisis the government should "rectify the political process, resort to the constitution and the agreements signed earlier and to adopt the principles of dialogue".
Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
