NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq:  One civilian man was injured in a bomb explosion, while two bodies of young men were found in western Ninewa province on Saturday, a local police source said.

“An improvised explosive device went off near a police patrol west of Mosul, leaving a civilian man wounded but no casualties were reported among the patrolmen,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

Meanwhile, the unidentified bodies of two young men shot dead were found in a graveyard in the city.
The police were notified and the bodies were removed to a morgue.

Mosul, the capital city of the unrest-stricken multi-ethnic province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
