DIWANIYA / Aswat al-Iraq: Unknown gunmen attacked the house of Diwaniya governor's adviser in west of Diwaniya on Friday using a sound bomb, a security source said.

"The gunmen attacked the house of Raad al-Zaidi, the political and security adviser of the governor, using a sound bomb in al-Jazaer neighborhood, west of Diwaniya, without leaving casualties," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

"The bomb caused panic in the region and light material damage in the targeted house," the source noted.

"Terrorists use such bombs to spread panic among civilians," he added.
