Kurdish visit to Israel denied
2/24/2013 4:11 PM

ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish government spokesman Sifin De'za'i denied a report published by an Israeli paper that a Kurdish delegation visited Tel Aviv to discuss Israeli investment projects in Kurdistan, particularly in the agricultural sector.

Yedioth Ahronot daily reported that deputy premier Imad Ahmed, accompanied by agriculture minister, visited Israel to discuss possible agricultural projects.

He pointed out that there were mistakes in the names and positions of the supposed Kurdish delegation, "furthermore, the Kurdish region has no diplomatic relations with Israel".
