BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Hammorabi Human Rights Organization condemned "the violations against the Izidis," calling on the federal government in Baghdad "to take quick and necessary measures to stop these acts and arrests in Sinjar area."
It called Kurdish region president Masoud Barzani to "stop the arbitrary acts of Kurdish Asayish forces against the Izindis in Sinjar" and should use "civilizational methods in investigations."
In a statement, the organization reported it got a number of complaints for acts of aggression and violation.
It cited several incidents made by the Kurdish Asayish forces and the governmental SWAT forces.
