BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Six civilians, belonging to one family have been killed and seven others injured, including policemen, in two attacks in Baghdad on Monday night, a security source said.
“A group of unknown gunmen broke through a house in southwestern Baghdad’s Bizeilia district on Monday night, killing six persons and wounding three others, all members of one family and flew away to an unknown destination,” the security source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Tuesday.
He said that an explosive charge blew off against a police patrol in west Baghdad’s Iskan district, wounding three policemen and a civilian, who happened to be close to the venue of the blast,” the security source said.
