BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister Rouz Nouri Shawis discussed with British Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, political developments in Iraq and ways to facilitate foreign companies' work in the country.
"Shaiws met in London on Thursday with Alistair, with whom he underlined that serious and constructive dialogue between all parties is the only solution for the current political crisis," said a statement from Shaiw's office on Friday received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"The two sides discussed problems facing foreign companies in Iraq, as the Iraqi official said that the government leaves no stone unearthed to find satisfactory solutions to all parties," the statement added.
