WASSIT/ Aswat al-Iraq: Hundreds demonstrated here today denouncing foreign interventions of Turkey and Qatar.

An organizer told Aswat al-Iraq that some political forces here called for the demonstration and denounced foreign Turkish and Qatari interventions in Iraqi internal affairs.

The demonstrators warned some Iraqi unnamed politicians of implementing foreign agendas on Iraqi soil.

Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.

Kut, center of the province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
