KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources disclosed here today that 241 were killed and 967 were wounded in different violent actions in 2012.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the violent actions included the explosion of 61 bombed cars and 195 bomb explosions.

43 persons were kidnapped, 15 terrorists were killed in military clashes and 215 mortar shells fell on the province, as the source added.
