KARBALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Demonstrators roamed the city here calling to discard denominational division, non-cancellation of Questioning and Justice Law and countering external interventions.

 

 

Ex-Chairman of the Provincial Council told Aswat al-Iraq that the demonstrators voluntarily gathered to discard denominational ideas.

 

 

He added that the demonstrators called the government to put into account any political entity or citizen spreading racist or denominational ideas and suspicious slogans.

 

 

The demonstrators demanded expelling MP Ahmed al-Alwani; otherwise the parliamentary sessions should be boycotted.

 

 

Karbala, center of the province, lies 108 km south west of the capital, Baghdad.
