Fadhila party boycotts Parliamentary session

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Al-Fadhila (Chastity) Party stated that cancelling terrorism and Questioning and Justice Laws is "a setback" to Iraq and it is people, announcing its boycott of the parliamentary session called for by speaker Usama Nujaifi.

Head of the bloc Ammar Tu'ma, in a press conference with State of Law MPs, attended by Aswat al-Iraq, stated that cancelling these laws will ignite more bloodshed.

Iraq is witnessing "one of the most dangerous crises" in its history after 2003, through massive protests that extended to Anbar, Salahal-Din, Ninewa, Kirkuk, Diala and Baghdad, as well as other areas in the country.

The protestors demanded the release of male and female prisoners and detainees and cancellation of terrorism and de-Baathification laws and to rectify the political process in the country.
