Mortar shells fell on official residential in Fallujah

ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here that six mortar shells fell in Amiriyah area, south of Fallujah, in a tribal area were a number of MPs and government officials reside.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the shells were fired from unknown areas.

No human or material losses were reported.

No other information was given.

This area is a tribal center where a number of tribes live in the area, including some parliamentary MPs.

Fallujah, 60 km west of Ramadi, center of the province that lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
