5 mortar shells fell on Shiite shrine south Tikrit

SALAH AL-DIN/ Aswat al-Iraq: Security sources said here today that 5 mortar shells fell on Shiite shrine, south of Tikrit.
 
 
No casualties were reported.
 
 
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the shells were fired by unknown group, with no human or material losses.
 
 
The holy shrine of Mohammed al-Hadi, in Balad city, lies 90 km south of Tikrit.
 
 
The center of the province, Tikrit, lies 175 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
