Kurdistan's flag is "Sacred", Karkuki

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish Parliament Speaker Kamal Karkuki announced today that the flag of the region is "sacred" and "to be sacrificed for".
 
He declared the Kurdish support for establishing regions in Iraq.
 
In a press conference here, he reviewed his latest visit to the 15-day visit to the United States.
 
Commenting on Premier Nouri al-Maliki to dismount Kurdish flags in Khaniqin county, he added that the Kurdish flag is "sacred" and he is ready to sacrifice his life for it.
 
Maliki's order incited indignation among Kurdish circles.
 
On the other hand, Karkuki expressed Kurdish readiness to support any federal region to be established in other parts of Iraq, "which is a constitutional right," he added.
