ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdistan's Tourism Department announced today that 133,000 tourists entered the Kurdish region from all parts of Iraq, up 60% from the previous year.

 

Nard Rosti, the Tourism Department's spokesman, added that 79,000 tourists came from central and southern parts of Iraq, 24000 from Turkey, 20000 from Iran and 10000 from other countries through Arbil and Sulaimaniya airports.

 

Last year figures reached to 83,000 tourists.
