SALAHAL-DIN/ Aswat al-Iraq: Chairman of Free Iraqiya bloc Qutaiba al-Jbouri and Salahal-Din Governor Ahmed Abdulla al-Jbouri escaped an assassination attempt by a bombed car east of Tikrit, according to provincial police sources.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that "a trapped armored car exploded before them, east of Tikrit, where they were inspecting these areas.

The explosion did not result human or material losses, as reported by the police sources.
