Kobler, Mustapha discuss Iraqi affairs

SULAIMANIYA/ Aswat al-Iraq: UN representative Martin Kobler said, during a meeting with Kurdish Change Movement General Coordinator Noushirwan Mustapha, that the international organization is following the situations in the Kurdish region and Iraq, in general.

 

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, Mustapha received the UN representative and his accompanying delegation.

 

Discussions were held on Iraqi political situation, the Kurdish opposition dialogues and the expected meeting with Kurdish region president Masoud Barzani.

 

Kurdish opposition held, during the previous days, a series of meetings where criticism was voiced against president Barzani and the Kurdish region government, as well as the demands to achieve reforms and amending the Kurdish constitution by the parliament.
