5 Iraqi journalists killed in line of duty in 2012 – press syndicate

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi press Syndicate said on Saturday that five journalists have been killed in Iraq in 2012 by armed group raising the number of media men who have been killed since 2003 to 373.
The syndicate underlined in its report the stability of conditions in the country and the democratic atmosphere prevailed throughout Iraq, noting that there is no journalist at any jail in Iraq.
The highest toll reached in Iraq was in 2007 , when 12 media workers killed in the country.
