ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that five Anbar protestors were injured by a firing from the bodyguards of deputy premier Saleh al-Mutlaq.
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that other protesters helped the injured by moving them to nearby hospitals.
Mutlaq's bodyguards fired in the air to disperse protesters who refused him to the platform, demanding a governmental statement and his immediate resignation.
A number of provinces, including Anbar, Salahal-Din and Ninewa, began massive demonstrations in protest of government policies who demanded the release of innocent prisoners and detainees and avoiding the neglect polices practiced against Sunni sect.
