 2600 captured for criminal charges in ten days, Karbala police

KARBALA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Karbala police announced today that more than 2600 were arrested for criminal charges during the last ten days.

This is the biggest figure of arrests in the history of the province.

Police Media Director added that 2760 arrest orders are to be implemented during the coming days.

The arrested were charged with stealing, killing, blundering, drugs and other criminal charges.

Karbala city, center of the province, lies 108 km south west of the capital, Baghdad.
