ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that the military forces made extensive inspection raids on civilian houses in four quarters of Falluja city.

 

During the raids, special guarantees were taken from the residents not to have guns at all, the source told Aswat al-Iraq.

 

No reasons were given for such raids or any other details.

 

Falluja lies 60 km west of Ramadi, center of Anbar province, which is situated 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
