Communist Party calls for early elections

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Communist Party Secretary General Hameed Majeed Musa warned against the current crisis between Baghdad and Arbil, re-iterating his call to have early election.

During his meeting with deputy premier for economic affairs Roz Nouri Shawees, both sides discussed means of solving the political crisis, according to the party's statement.

Musa pointed out that "the Communist Party has a point in solving these issues; namely, early elections that will organize the legislative authority to reach democratic and constitutional path".
