BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The head of the al-Ahrar parliamentary bloc, Bahaa al-Aaraji, said on Monday that the participants of the preparatory committee agreed today to hold another meeting on Tuesday to finalize the pending issues.

 

Speaking at a press conference after the preparatory committee meeting of the National Conference, al-Aaraji said the main principles, including sticking to the constitution, have been agreed upon, noting that the problems are classified as legislative and judicial problems.

 

Earlier today Aswat al-Iraq reported that the head of the National Alliance Al-Jaafari and Deputy Prime Minister Shawis were discussing efforts to render the National Conference a success.
