KIRKUK, Aswat al-Iraq: Two civilians were killed and five wounded in a bomb blast this morning in Kirkuk.

 

The bomb was directed against a police patrol, 65 km south west of the city, according to police sources.

 

General Sarhad Qadir told Aswat al-Iraq that the bomb killed one cop and a civilian; some of those injured are in serious condition.

 

Damages were reported to nearby vehicles.
