Iraq’s 2012 Budget – 115 trillion (t) dinars (about US$98.3 billions approx), Minister says

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq’s General Budget for the year 2012 has reached 115 trillion (t) Iraqi dinars (US$98.3 billions approx), suffering from a deficit of 16 trillion (t) dinars (US$13.7 billions approx), Finance Ministry, Rafi’e al-Issawi said on Monday.

 

Iraq shall face a deficit, reaching 16 trillion dinars (US$13.7 billions approx) for its 2012 Budget, reached 115 trillion (t) dinars (US$98.3 billions approx), Minister Issawi told Reuters News Agency.

 

Issawi pointed out that the deficit in 2012 budget shall be less than the deficit of the current year.

 

Iraq’s 2011 budget had reached US$82.6 billions, based on an average price of its oil that reached 76.50 US dollars per barrel and an average daily export that reached 2.2 million barrels per day.
