BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: The Interpol suspended its activities in Iraq, except for Kurdish region following accusations that Iraqi law is "not independent and neutral".
The Interpol sources said that it kept its representation in Arbil and Sulaimaniya.
The general secretariat of the Interpol sent a message to the Iraqi government pointing that Iraqi verdicts are not neutral for some Iraqi personalities.
The secretariat "was sure that Iraqi courts were under pressures by Iraqi circles, thus their verdicts are not honest and neutral".
