Iraq, Azerbaijan discuss bilateral relations

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Vice-president Khudhair al-Khuza'i called for benefiting from foreign expertise and signing memoranda of understanding in fields of youth and national sports.

In a meeting with Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov and his Iraqi counterpart Jassim Mohammed Jaffar, both sides discussed developing bilateral relations, particularly in sports.

According to a statement by his office, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, both sides confirmed necessity of developing sports work and activities in Iraq.

It is expected that both countries will sign sports and youth agreement, which was earlier elaborated and discussed.
