Spanish company seeks investments in Karbala province

KARBALA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Chairman of the Investment Supervision Commission announced here today that a Spanish company seeks implementing some projects, including health and housing projects.

Zuhair Kuraiti told Aswat al-Iraq that Sanfar System Company, specialized in construction, is trying to have vents for investments in the province.

He added that many foreign companies are pouring into the province searching for better work opportunities, but "the new Investment Law is not activated to implement the contracts made by these companies".

Karbala, center of the province, lies 108 km south west of the capital, Baghdad.
