Call to release Iraqis fought against US occupation

NINEWA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Secretary General of Justice and Reform Movement Sheikh Abdulla al-Yawar called the Iraqi government to release the Iraqis who were arrested fighting against US occupation, similar to Hezbollah Lebanese member Ali Daqdouq.

Daqdouq was charged with killing five US soldiers in Iraq.

The Iraqi government announced that the charges were not proven against him and was released according to Iraqi law.
