 Mortar shells fell west Kirkuk

KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that three mortar shells fell inside Dibis area, west of Kirkuk.

No human or material losses were reported.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the security sources where searching the sources of the shells.

Earlier, 4 mortar shells fell on 2 December instant near a police station in the same area, which led to injuring a cop.

Kirkuk, center of the province, lies 280 km north east of the capital, which is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil.
