ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish region president Masoud Barzani met today with the US ambassador to Iraq, according to Kurdish presidency site.

President Barzani stressed that the dialogue will be open to reach drastic solution to all questions, away from military concentrations, calling the federal government to implement Article 140 of the constitution.

On the other hand, US ambassador Stephen Beecroft pointed out that the change in the disputed areas needs coordination between the Kurdish government and Baghdad, hoping to solve these issues through dialogue and joint action.

Barzani pointed out that "Iraq will not progress with the incitement of crises, so the situation needs pacification".
