Call to file suits against prisons' officials, MP
BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Chairman of the Parliamentary Human Rights Commission shouldered the executive authorities with the responsibility of violating women human rights in Iraqi prisons, calling the freed women to file suits against those who abused them.
MP Saleem al-Jbouri, in a press conference today, said that his commission observed a number of violations against suspected detainees inside defence and interior ministries' prisons.
He called all released women to visit his commission to file official suits against prisons' personnel who tortured or abused them.
