BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi government has approved allocating additional funds to enhance its air defense system.

 

Cabinet Secretary General Ali al-Alaq disclosed that "according to the present situation, the Iraqi government is planning to deter any violations that might happen to the country."

 

"The sovereignty of the country necessitates not violating its air space from any country," he confirmed.

 

The Cabinet Secretary did not specify a figure to be allocated for the development of this system.
