Party law obstructed to get financial support, MP

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: State of Law MP Kamal al-Sa'idi stressed that "there are some circles that try to obstruct the endorsement of Party Law in order to get their financial financing".

In a press statement, he added that "the Party Law was put in the parliamentary agenda for several times, where it was discussed, but nothing was done, because some parties want to get their illegitimate financing".

He stressed the importance of controlling party financing, but expected that some circles want to postpone the matter till the next election campaign.
