KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: An officer and a policeman were killed and seven more were wounded in two bombs explosions in central Kirkuk, a police source said.
"Explosives experts were trying to defuse a rocket in al-Kourniesh street, central Kirkuk, when an improvised explosive device went off, killing a policeman and an officer, and injuring a cop and four civilians," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Another bomb exploded targeting a police vehicle patrol in the same street, injuring a policeman and a civilian, and damaging the vehicle," the source added.
