BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: MP Hussein al-Mur'ibi warned today of the delay of development in the country and the change of governmental establishments into consumptive organs due to the inactivity of the investment budget.

He pointed out that Iraq loses more than $4 billion per month due to the non-endorsement of the general budget.

He charged the circles that hinder the endorsement of the budget of wasting these billions, calling the parliament to expedite the finalizing this issue "to avoid greater losses".

The budget session of today was postponed till next Saturday due to the differences among the political blocs, particularly with the Kurds on the charges of the oil companies working in the Kurdish region.
