NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A gunman was killed when trying to a attack a police post with an RPG rocket west of Mosul, security sources said here today.

 

The police forces opened fire on the gunman.
He was immediately killed when he approached the post with his RPG launcher, which exploded at the same time due to the heavy fire.

 

Mosul, the center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
